team pictures will be taken by D & J Photography on Thursday morning. If you have not already done so, please return your child’s uniform on
MONDAY so that we don’t have to worry that not all will have theirs for
pictures. If you have not turned in uniforms, you will find notice in today’s
folder. If you have turned them in, they are being held in the office until
Thursday. Remember to have your child bring in any shorts (volleyball), shoes,
socks, etc., that they would need for a team picture. Order forms are in today’s folder. If you are ordering, please
attach payment and return before picture day.

graders on Friday, April 12th at 8:00 am. Students will begin to
look at schedules. It is very helpful if at least one parent attends this
meeting with their child, if at all possible. The Freshman Orientation at Cole
R-V is on Monday, May 1st, beginning at 5:30 pm in the Performing
Arts Center.
BREAKFAST PLANNING MEETING – Monday,
April 8th at 5:45 pm in the school cafeteria.

Groose & Jeana Pringer will be driving.
LOOKING AHEAD TO EASTER: We will have our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday,
April 17th, before we break for the Holy Days and Easter. We are asking
that you please send in one dozen candy filled eggs to your child’s
classroom (no peanut butter, nothing that melts easily) This would be for
grades PK-6th. Please do not send these in until the week of April
15th. Also, you may remember
the 7/8th graders with a treat, since they will be hiding the eggs
for everyone else, and won’t have a hunt of their own!
READING COUNTS: Reading Counts deadline is Wednesday April, 24th. The Reading Counts field trip to Springfield is set
for Friday, May 3rd, 2019. The students will enjoy the day at the
Discovery Center. The bus is scheduled to leave at 7:45 am and return no later
than 5:45 pm. Check in at the Discovery Center is 9:45 am. The PK-4th
grades will have presentations from 10:00 – 10:30 pm and the 5-8th
will have presentations from 10:45 – 11:30 am. Students will eat in shifts – PK-4
from 10:45 to 11:15 & 5-8 from 11:30 to 12:00. Field trip forms will go home on April 17th with any student who has
already met their 200 point goal. The remainder of the field trip forms will go
home on April 25th with students who reached their goal between the 17th and
24th. Next Friday, you will get more details and a survey form to figure out what
adults are planning on going and if you plan on hauling your child.
FIELD DAY: OLOS students will enjoy
Field Day on the 2nd to last day of school, May 16th. We
will do outdoor activities in the morning, grill some hotdogs or hamburgers,
and enjoy a movie in the afternoon. If you would be able to help out with this,
please contact Rosie or Mr. V.
ATTENTION 7TH GRADE PARENTS: Traditionally, the 8th grade graduation reception is
