CONGRATULATIONS to the three students who are graduating from 8th grade this Saturday evening. They are Matthew Beck, Jordan Bittle, & Grace Groose. We congratulate you and wish you the very best. We will miss you, and we will continue to pray for you as you continue on in your education. Good luck to all of you!

THE AMAZING RACE! For our Field Day, on May 16th, students will be participating in the Amazing Race in the morning. It promises to be great fun for all and we are excited about it! However, to put on these events for the kids, we do need our volunteers! If you are able to help out that morning, please send a note or call the office. We thank Tracey B & Wendy W. for volunteering. Many thanks to Brittany & Marie Massman, who have worked very hard to get this race figured out. It took a lot of time and planning and we all appreciate it very much!

DONATIONS NEEDED: Prizes for students as they cross the finish line of “The Amazing Race’. We have 65 students. Examples of small items needed – trinkets, bracelets, bouncy balls, small dinosaurs, candy…basically any small items we can bag up in treat bags. Please send in any items by Tuesday. Thank you!

PICNIC LUNCH on Thursday will be grilled hamburgers/hot dogs, chips, bananas, rice-krispie treat, soda/drink pouch/milk.

ALL SCHOOL BILLS must be paid IN FULL for your child to receive their final grade cards/diplomas, as well as for the transfer of any academic records. If you still owe for anything, you will find notice in today’s folder. (The only exception would be for any child who used drop in extended care services in May. In that case, please call the school office to figure final amounts due.)

DARE GRADUATION: Dare graduation for 5th & 6th graders will be this Monday, May 13th at 8:00 am, with a reception and refreshments of donuts & juice in the cafeteria. All 5th & 6th grade parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

A FAREWELL PARTY will be held for Mrs. Haeffner on Wednesday, May 15th at 2:25 pm in the cafeteria. Mrs. Haeffner has dedicated eight years of service and dedication to Our Lady of the Snows School and we will definitely miss her. Let us show how grateful we are by sending her off with cards and tokens of appreciation. All are invited!

OLOSS “BEE” KIND CLUB: Students who were recognized for acts of kindness and generosity on May 7 were: PK – Jace Lage – pushing chairs in, K – Anna Eickhoff – sharing crayons with others,  1st – Elaina Backues - being a great line leader and having great manners,  2nd – Madelyn Doerhoff – always being kind to others outside of the classroom, 3rd – Natalie Groose – being such a great helper, 4th – Braden Schulte – sharing his smiles, 5th –Oliver Burrows – always being willing to help, 6th – Zachary Vandike – having a good attitude, 7th –Ethan Schulte – asking 5/6 to join in kickball, 8th – Matt Beck – coordinating a kickball game. All acts of kindness “bees” are displayed in the school cafeteria. Great job, students!

CONGRATULATIONS to the 13 students receiving their First Eucharist this Sunday at noon. Ten of the students are OLOS School students. They are: Landon Backues, Madelyn Doerhoff, Eli Eickhoff, Jacob Eickhoff, Romie Groose, Olivia Koetting, Karter Lage, Tanner Lage, Gus Pringer, & Nicholas Vandike. May God abundantly bless all 13 of these youngsters as they take this momentous step in their Catholic life.
