ACHIEVEMENT TEST SCORES are in today’s folder, for students in Grades 1-8. All students in these grades were administered the Iowa Achievement tests, and students in grades 3,5, & 7, were administered the CogAT, which is a cognitive ability test. If you have any questions with interpretation, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Akin.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the next Home & School meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 6:00 pm.  

FANTASY NIGHT – The Virtual Fantasy Night will be held on on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2020. $50 tickets are now available through the school or at Mary’s Home Bank. Please see enclosed flyers.

SCHOOL RESUMES on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

CHRISTMAS EVE MASS – 4:00 pm Mass – Students are invited to sing two songs up front by the crib before Mass. The two songs are O Come Little Children & Silent Night. Contact Janet Buschjost @ jcbusch41@aol.com for more info.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE: Thank you for sending in food for the “One Can Make a Difference” food drive. We collected 549 items. Half of the items were given to the Eugene Church food bank and the other half were given to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church’s Blessing Box. Student Council officers delivered items to Eugene. Congratulations to the 5/6 Graders – who won the ice-cream party for most collected, based on percentages).

FREE MEALS FOR ALL STUDENTS EXTENDED– OFFICIAL PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: Effective Monday, September 21, ALL students at Our Lady of the Snows School will be able to receive FREE lunch through DESE Seamless Summer Option and the USDA. The free meals will be available through the end of the school year. If your child does not attend OLOS School, you may request to pick up a free lunch for any child age 1 to 18. If you wish to order meals for children not enrolled in OLOS School, you will need to contact Carla Morris before 8:15 daily at 573-498-3574 to request the meals. Meal pickup will be at 11:30 am at the side parking lot nearest the kitchen (below M. H. bank). If you have any questions, please call the office at 573-498-3574. Thank you. NO MEALS AVAILABLE DURING CHRISTMAS BREAK.

 ALL FAMILIES returning their 20-21 Friday folder (The Heavens Declare the Glory of the Lord) by Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2021, with any needed paperwork completed, will be placed in a drawing for a bonus dress down pass for students in their family. Congratulations to Nolan, Braden, Adam, & Elsie Schulte, who won the Thanksgiving bonus passes.
