Friday Newsletter 10-25-13
SOCK DAY: This Monday, Oct. 28th, students are invited to wear their brightest Halloween socks with rolled up pants (can also just be solid black, orange, etc). If you don’t have a pair, you can usually find these at the Dollar stores. This is a dress down day, but you may only dress down if you wear those Halloween socks!
IT’S GETTING COLDER!!! Please make sure your child brings a jacket to school each day – sometimes it may not seem too cold, but out on the playground it can be pretty nippy! Please make sure to mark your child’s name in their jacket. Each year, we seem to accumulate 10-15 jackets in the lost and found. Someone is buying a lot of replacement jackets!
STUDENT COUNCIL NEWS: We are selling Halloween suckers & candy corn guesses for a quarter each. If you pick the sucker with the color on the bottom you will win a prize!

We sent home a list of room parents last week. Feel free to contact parents that are not on the list to provide refreshments. On the afternoon of Halloween, the students are invited to dress in their costume for our annual “Halloween Walk” around town, beginning at 1:30, after which we will enjoy the classroom parties.
