START SAVING CHANGE! One of the events we have planned for CSW is to set a goal and if it is met we would have Mr. V “KISS THE PIG”! We will be collecting loose change the week PRIOR to CSW (Jan 22-26) and announcing the results of the Kiss the Pig contest on Sunday, at the school luncheon. If the goal is met, we will have a REAL LIVE PIG on the premises that day, so that Mr. V gets the full experience! We are sure the students will have a blast with this, so start rounding up that loose change – no bills accepted! All proceeds will be used to make care packets for our veterans.

OTHER CSW INFO: Along with the activities planned to kick off the week on Sunday, we will be doing the following things: On Monday, for Nation Day, we will have a representative from the U. S. Army here for a presentation at 1:00 pm, along with making care packages, etc. On Tuesday, faculty, staff, & volunteers will be treated to a “Mexican Bar” for lunch on the premises. On Wednesday, Community Day, students will focus on gifting the elderly & shut ins of our community, and also the older students will play cards with the seniors. Thursday, we concentrate on Vocations, and Father Greg will be hosting the students at the rectory for some fun activities. We may also have some other special guests that day to share their vocation with our students. And on Friday, Student Day, we will enjoy bowling at the old hall, movies, and snacks. It should be a very fun week, as we celebrate our faith-filled Catholic school family.
