BABY SHOWER A HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you to everyone for donating to Birthright. We donated over $200 in cash and too many items to count! Thank you to the Student Council, Mrs. Groose, & Mrs. Haeffner for helping with the prayer service & games. Everyone had so much fun and Judy would be VERY proud!

NEW BABY! Congratulations to two proud big sisters! Brena & Romie Groose shared some important news this week – they are new big sisters to little brother, Hoyt Robert David, born Saturday, March 10th. Hoyt was 7 lbs. 5 oz, Congratulations to the girls, and new proud parents, Danen & David.

IMPOMPTU DRILLS: OLOS School will be having several emergency drills throughout the next weeks. To avoid undue anxiety, please take an opportunity to discuss these with your children, especially the younger ones. We have tornado, fire, earthquake, and intruder/lockdown drills.

LOOKING AHEAD TO EASTER: We will have our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, April 17th, before we break for the Holy Days and Easter. We are asking that you please send in one dozen candy filled eggs to your child’s classroom (no peanut butter, nothing that melts easily) This would be for grades PK-6th. Please do not send these in until the week of April 15th.  Also, you may remember the 7/8th graders with a treat, since they will be hiding the eggs for everyone else, and won’t have a hunt of their own!

BABY CHICKS! During the first couple weeks of April the PK, 2, 3, 4, 5-8 Science classes will get to witness firsthand the hatching & care of baby chicks. This program is a great hit with our students and is offered yearly through the Miller Co. Extension Office.

NEW LOGO? If anyone has good ideas/artwork that we could use for a new logo for our spirit shirts, please contact Rosie in the office. We have had the current logo for several years, and Tammy was wondering if we would want to change it. If you have any good ideas, please let us know.

TRACK: Due to transportation issues, there will be no track team this spring.
