things about your child that you want them to know. Letters will be given to
students on Friday, Feb. 4th, which is Student Day. Please return
your letters to school by Monday, Jan. 31st in the sealed envelope.

and ONE TUB OF ICING FOR EACH CHILD IN FAMILY. Staff are being asked to
supply disposable cake pans Students will get to add balloons, candles and make
a card for each. Flavors of cake and icing are up to you and your child. Please
send these in by Monday, Jan. 31st.

CHANGES TO CALENDAR: There will be NO SCHOOL on March 21 due to Diocesan Professional Development, but we WILL be in session on Friday, March 25th. The diocese has given two additional days at Easter, which are not required to be made up. Therefore, there will be NO SCHOOL from Holy Thursday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 20th, with the 19th & the 20th being possible snow make-up days. March 10th will no longer be a half day – we will be in session a full day.
PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the afternoon of Friday, April 22, as we are planning a fun reunion for all former staff members of OLOSS.
FEBRUARY: Our February morning prayer is The Act of Love, and our February Christskill is Honesty.
OUR CHANCE TO WIN DRESS DOWN PASSES! All families returning their 21-22 Friday folder (The Heavens Declare the Glory of the Lord) by Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, with any needed paperwork completed, will be placed in a drawing for a bonus dress down pass for students in their family. Congratulations to Natalie & Charlotte G, for winning the passes this week.
SUBS NEEDED! We are in great need of subs for both the classrooms and in the kitchen. Please contact Mrs. Burgess if you, or someone you know, might be interested.
SPOTLIGHT ON SHANE: We would like to recognize Shane B. Shane has been nominated for the Aquinas Academy this summer. This is a weeklong enrichment camp for qualifying 6th & 7th graders who attend Catholic schools in the JC Diocese. It takes place in late June at the Military Academy in Mexico, MO. Attendees get the opportunity to participate in many new learning experiences to help them reach their full potential. Along with doing well academically, Shane has many hobbies, including basketball, video games, and playing with his dog, Jax. He likes going to school at OLOS because he likes the community spirit. Shane’s favorite subject is Spelling, and his least favorite is Social Studies. When asked what occupation he might work toward as he goes through his school years, he says he’s not really sure yet but he has many interests! We are so proud of Shane and congratulate him for his outstanding conduct and academic achievements!
SPOTLIGHT ON STAFF – Our Lady of the Snows School is very blessed to have such devoted, hard-working, and experienced staff members who have dedicated their careers to the children and families of Our Lady of the Snows community. We will spotlight a different staff member in the bulletin each week. This week's spotlight is on Sarray Schulte: "Hi, my name is Sarray Schulte. I have lived in Mary's Home my entire life. My parents are Eric and Brittany Schulte. I have one sister, Aubrey. I also have two boxers, Dega and Spencer. I went to Our Lady of Snows School from 2nd to 6th grade. I am currently a junior at Cole R-V. Before working at Our Lady of the Snows, I worked at Panera Bread. When not working I enjoy beekeeping. I currently have three hives and am hoping to expand Hyline Honey this spring. I also enjoy swimming and being with family and friends. This is my first year at Our Lady of the Snows. I enjoy working with the children and giving back to my local parish. My favorite thing about this job is hearing about the children's day and watching them grow in their faith."
Please return your folder on Monday.
Have a wonderful weekend. Hope to see
everyone at Mass on Sunday!
