NO JEANS! All students K-8 should come to the cafeteria after Mass to meet their teacher who will escort them into the gym at the proper time. The Preschoolers should go to their classroom. Hope to see everyone here on Sunday. The program will be held in the gym.

This year for Christmas students will be exchanging gifts within the classroom. Girls should buy for girls and boys should buy for boys. Gifts should be of $5 value. Christmas parties will be on December 21st at 1:30 pm. ROOM PARENTS – please refer to the parent list sent home today. We count on you to make our classroom parties the success they always are!

Santa Store:  We will be setting up the Santa Store Sunday after the program. If you haven't donated items yet, please bring them to the program and leave them by the office.  Suggestions for the items:  These items can be anything that is gently used or new.  Some ideas might be: knick-knacks that you no longer want, ties from your closet that you don’t wear, jewelry that is no longer worn, items you didn’t sell on the last rummage sale, or dollar items from Target’s dollar bin.  Items donated will then be sold for $1.00 each in our Santa Store. Envelopes are in today's Friday Folder. With the help of a parent, students will fill out the front of the envelope stating who they will buy for and fill out the enclosed tags so that wrapping will be easier and enclose money for the child to spend. (You can send the envelopes back in the Friday Folder and it will be saved for the shopping on Wed.) Checks can be made out to OLOSS Fundraising Committee.    A Santa Store volunteer will wrap the item(s) and send it home with the child.  The child places it under the tree at home and on Christmas Day your child shares in the joy of giving.  This is a way for your child to give something back to you for a very small price.  The purpose of this fundraiser for the kids to have fun and show their respect and gratitude for those they love this Christmas season.

On Wednesday, as a Christian Service Project, we will sponsor a “Dress Down for a Family’s Christmas Day”. Suggested donation is $1 or more. Collected money will be donated to a local family to make their Christmas a little brighter! Remember, this is optional. If you do not wish your child to participate – they can wear dress code clothing that day.

We also need adult volunteers for Wednesday to help with the shopping and wrapping.  If you can help, please contact Stacy Schrimpf at 496-3889 or via email:  stacesname@aol.com. The volunteers can even be grandparents.  It is a fun and easy project. The Santa store will ONLY be open on Wednesday, Dec 14th for shopping.

Thank you to everyone who sold That’s My Pan and Rada cutlery. We earned $885 on this fundraiser for our school.

Student Council News: As you come to the Christmas Program on Sunday, take a second to notice the Nativity Scene in the cafeteria. The Council purchased this new for Christmas this year. We are pleased to report that through our fundraising efforts and your generosity, we were able to send $96.10 to the poor children in Somalia. Thanks so much to everyone for buying those raffle tickets. We are beginning a new raffle for Christmas. This raffle is good for a chance to win a week’s worth of Dress Down Passes! This raffle is open to students and faculty/staff alike. See enclosed flyer for more information and thanks for your great support of our efforts!
