CHANGE OF LOCATION! SHOW ME SUDS FUNDRAISER: Show Me Suds will be delivered on Sunday, February 25. Anyone who sold the products or purchased items directly needs to pick up their orders at the parish center gym double doors (back parking lot) between 5:00-6:30 pm that evening. The combined total of products sold between the school families/parish & NCYC was 371 items with a profit of $2789. Thank you for your continued support of OLOS parish and NCYC and thank you to Joan Doerhoff for heading up this fundraiser!

GYM PAINTING: The gym is currently undergoing drywall and general wall repair, in anticipation of repainting. We are planning to paint the gym on March 12, 13, and 14. If needed, we will have additional work nights on March 18 and 19. Start time will be 5:00 pm (or after work). A light meal will be provided. We are also in need of someone to supervise the playground for those who may have small children who could help paint. Please let us know if you can supervise. We depend on all school families and parishioners to keep our facilities in good shape. Please plan on joining the “paint party”. You can log your service hours towards the 20 needed for this school year. Thank you!

MEET AND GREET!!! Our Lady of the Snows School is hosting a Meet & Greet event on Monday, March 11, 2024 @ 5:30 pm. All new students, interested families, and current families, are invited to join us for a short gathering at 5:30 and a light meal at 6:00 pm. You will be able to meet your child's teacher, learn about the online admissions process, and get important information about our little school. OLOS serves students from preschool age (3 years by Aug. 1, 2024) through eighth grade. Our mission is to provide a quality Catholic education and to develop the whole person in a faith-filled Catholic environment. If you have any questions, please call the school office @ 573-498-3574. We look forward to visiting with you that evening!

HOME & SCHOOL: There will be a Home & School meeting at 6:15 pm, directly following the Meet & Greet, on March 11th. All current families and visitors are invited to stay for this meeting to see what great things are happening in our school!

7th/8TH GRADE FAMILIES - GRADUATION NEWS: It is a tradition at OLOS School for the 7th grade parents and students to sponsor the 8th grade graduation reception. While all 7th grade families are expected to help, we usually ask for one or two people to organize it. Thank you to Jeana Pringer for being the first to offer her help! Today, all 7th & 8th grade parents will find an outline/checklist in the folder for your reference (front for 7th grade parents/back for 8th grade parents).  Please consider helping Jeana coordinate graduation plans and contact us with your offer to help. (Graduation – Sat., Apr. 27 - 4:00 pm Mass)

COLE R-V FRESHMAN ORIENTATION for incoming freshman will be at Cole R-V on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm (location in building TBA).

COLE R-V COUNSELOR VISIT: We are in the process of coordinating a visit by the high school counselor to visit with our students and parents at OLOS this spring before Freshman Orientation. We will let you know when we get this on the calendar.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: We will be going to Stations every Friday until Easter at 2:30 pm (except on 3/8/24). You are welcome to join us in prayer. If you are planning to attend, and wish to check your child out at church, please let us know ahead of time so that your child can bring his/her bookbag along to church.

OLOS SCIENCE FAIR: The 5th through 8th graders are working hard on getting their projects finished up. We will have them on display at the VIP Day on April 10th. Two projects/presenters will show their projects at the diocesan fair on March 1st in Taos. Congratulations to Shane B. & Jacob B, for being selected to represent our school at the diocesan fair!  Good luck, boys!

RESCHEDULED DANCE: The fundraising dance has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, featuring the Ryan Voss Band. Pizza Quick will also be on hand. The proceeds will be used for gym repair. Additional flyers are available in the school office.

Jayton H. is the lucky winner of the weekly Friday Folder dress down drawing!
