HALLOWEEN PARTIES/ROOM PARENTS: We count on
our room parents to provide games, snacks, and drinks for our three classrooms
parties each year – Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. Class lists are
in today’s folder for treats. PLEASE
NOTE: Due to Halloween falling on a Monday, the preschoolers will enjoy a party
and short parade to the classrooms on Thursday, Oct. 27th, from 2:00
to 3:00 pm. They are invited to walk with us around town on Monday, the 31st
as well, but MUST HAVE A PARENT WITH THEM AND ALSO FILL OUT A PERMISSION FORM
FOR THEM. The “Walk” on Halloween will begin at 1:30 pm. PERMSSION FORMS FOR THE WALK ARE IN TODAY’S FOLDER. Thanks to the
businesses/people that “treat” our students on the walk.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE ASSIGNMENTS are in today’s folder. If you cannot make your assigned time, please
contact Rosie in the office. Please be prompt to your conference(s). Time slots
are 10 minutes. If you need more time, please schedule with the teacher for a
later date. When you look at the schedule you will understand how staying over
just a minute or two affects many others, especially in the bigger classes and
those with bigger families meeting multiple deadlines.
THE $10,000 FANTASY NIGHT was a great

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: The Christmas program is
scheduled for Sun., Dec. 4th, after the 10:00 am Mass. IF YOU KNOW
NOW THAT YOUR FAMILY CANNOT ATTEND, PLEASE LET MR. VANDIKE KNOW AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE, AS PARTS ARE BEING ASSIGNED NOW.
THE JV LADY COUGARS lost their game
last night, with set scores of 17-25 (loss), 17-25 (loss) & 25-11 (win). A
good showing! Catholic Bowl brackets/schedules are in today’s folder for next
weekend. The volleyball season is coming to an end, with games through next weekend.

FIRE DEPARTMENT FIELD TRIP: The entire
school will get to go across the road to visit the Cole Co. Fire Protection
District volunteer fire department on Tuesday, October 25th. October
is National Fire Prevention Month. PLEASE FIND AND FILL OUT COMPLETELY THE
ENCLOSED FIELD TRIP FORM AND RETURN ON MONDAY (Yes, another one! J).
