LUNCH BILLING:  We will do the final lunch billing on April 15th. If you receive a notice on April 17th, that will be the final amount due. If you do not receive a billing, it means your child’s lunch account is paid in full.

EGGS NEEDED! Please send in one dozen candy-filled eggs for each of your students, to be used for our annual Easter egg hunt – which we have moved to Tuesday, April 7th (a snow make-up day).  Students in grades PK – 6th will be hunting eggs, with the 7th & 8th graders hiding them. Please no candy that would melt easily – as it could be a sunny day. Also, you may remember to throw in a couple extra treats for the 7th & 8th graders, who will be working hard to hide ALL those eggs. You can send them in at any time to the classroom teacher, in a bag, marked with your child’s name. Thank you!
8th grade parents: We are in needed of a parent driver for 8th grade pictures on April 15th. Please contact office if you are able to help out.

BEST CHOICE UPC’S NEEDED:  We are just a couple hundred UPC’s short of our goal of 1000. For every 1000 submitted, OLOSS receives $30. Please send any in that you may have accumulated. Thanks to all who support this program!

The PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN informational meetings are scheduled for this Tuesday, March 31st from 6:30 to 7:00 pm., in the respective classrooms. If you have a new preschooler or kindergartener make plans now to attend this short but informative meeting. Kindergarten parents will be able to schedule their pre-kindergarten screening test with Mrs. Eickhoff that evening as well.

SHOEMAN WATER PROJECTS:  For the last few years OLOSS has been participating in this project, whereby old or unwanted shoes are turned into the school and funds are generated to drill wells in Africa. Just tie or rubber band them together, throw in a bag, and send to school. Mrs. Massman will be delivering them to Jefferson City on Friday, April 10. Please see enclosed flyer for more information.

CAMDEN KEMPKER is all smiles this week, as he reports that he has a new baby brother! We welcome precious little Will Garrett, born on Monday, weighing in at 7 lb. 5 oz, and measuring 20 inches in length. We congratulate Camden, little brother, Eli, and proud parents Ashley & Samuel. Please pray for this family as they welcome their new baby boy!
