MANY
THANKS to Gina Adrian & Laura Evers, who drove &
supervised the 8th graders on their retreat at Folk this week. We
appreciate your gift of time and treasure!
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Students will be attending Stations each
Friday at 2:15. If you or a grandparent is attending stations, and you would
like to take your child after the service, please send a note to school. This
will enable the student to bring his/her backpack with her to church.
SNOW MAKE-UP DAY; DUE TO THE RECENT SNOW DAY, SCHOOL WILL BE IN
SESSION ON HOLY THURSDAY, APRIL 2 – BUT WE WILL BE DISMISSING AT 12:00 NOON.
EMERGENCY DRILLS: During the months of February and March, OLOS School
will be practicing scheduled and unscheduled emergency drills – including
tornado, intruder, earthquake, and bomb threat. Your younger children may have
concerns or questions, so you may take the time to discuss this with them.
SURVEY OF THE FAMILY: Enclosed in
today’s folder is a survey sent to us from the Bishop’s office dealing with
local family issues. The Bishop is asking that each school family take the time
to fill this out. Please return this by mid-week, next week. Thank you, in
advance, for your help with this survey.
PRESCHOOL NEEDS: The
preschool classroom is in need of treasure box items and old cell phones and
cameras. The little ones love to pretend with the phones and cameras and we are
seeing the bottom of the treasure box!
BOX TOPS & BEST CHOICE: Please
send in all Box Tops tabs and Best Choice UPC’s that you have collected lately.
Gina will be submitting them on March 1st, so please send them in
