ROOM PARENTS: Thanks to our wonderful room parents – you are very much appreciated for the great Valentine’s parties and for the help with the dance.

ITALIAN FEAST:  What an amazing event! It is wonderful to see how we can all pull together to carry off this huge fundraiser so well. Those here last Saturday know that we had a great turnout, with a reportedly 453 adult and 60 children tickets sold (up from 401 adults in 2014 & 391 in 2013). The preliminary Silent Auction numbers look like around $4000 profit. More precise numbers will be available soon, but just know that we DID GOOD!  THANKS TO ALL!!!

SCIENCE FAIR: Congratulations to Alex Evers – overall winner in the Physical Science category for his project – “Gears in Motion”. Congratulations to Joe Beck – overall winner in the Life Science category for his project – “The Great Potato Debate – Grandpa vs. Grandma. There were no entries in the Earth Science category. These two students will be moving on to the diocesan Science Fair scheduled for Saturday, March 14th at St Joseph Cathedral. Many thanks to the three gentlemen who judged our fair – Bill Fiend, Jim Vandike, & Kevin Richards. These men have helped us with fairs before and spend the entire day judging and talking with the students about their projects. If you see them around, please let them know of our appreciation! The students did a great job on their projects – it is AMAZING how many neat ideas and experiments that were generated within our small school. They are all to be commended and their projects!

PLEASE PRAY for our 2nd graders, who, along with other 2nd graders in our parish, will be making their First Reconciliation this Sunday. They are: Deanna Backes, Emma Goetz, Charlie Harrison, Grayson Koetting, Zachary Vandike, & Garet Wood. May God bless them abundantly as they realize this milestone in their life.
