HAVE A WONDERFUL THREE DAY WEEKEND STUDENTS!

PUT FAMILY FIRST

Compared to those who never or rarely eat with their families, teens who eat dinner with their families five to seven times a week are:
  • 45% less likely to try alcohol
  • 24% less likely to smoke marijuana
  • 67% more likely to get A’s in school
  •
Teens were also less likely to drink if they reported that they regularly attend public worship and expressed confidence in getting “support from God” when in need.

For parents anxious about teenage vulnerability, these findings confirm that a strong marriage and regular church attendance as a family are powerful tools to keep teenagers out of trouble.

Ask yourself…
Do my children know that they are intensely loved by God?
Will we attend Mass as a family this weekend?
