CLASSROOM PARENTS:  We are once again counting on you to do the great job with the classroom parties that you are famous for! Parties are at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Dec. 21st. We understand that since these are morning parties, some room parents may not be able to take off of work. Please let the classroom teacher know if this is the case, for planning purposes. Even if you are unable to attend, we are still counting on you to provide treats and drinks for the party. Parents – don’t forget that students will be exchanging $5 gifts within their own classrooms this year.

There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE on Tuesday, December 21st. We dismiss at 12:00 noon for Christmas.

Congratulations to the following students, nominated by their classroom teacher, for the Aquinas Academy this summer in Mexico: Sam C. Beck, Sydney Trachsel, Maggie Morris, Tori Adrian, & Daniel Beck. Nominations are made using grades, achievement test scores, portraying good Christian values, and having the maturity level for a residential camp.

Thanks to all the wonderful parents who sent items and “spending money’ for the Santa Store this week. It is always fun & interesting to open those treasured gifts! Also thanks to all the Student Council parents who sent in the cookies for the fun afternoon with Santa – it was very enjoyable! Thanks, too, to the 3rd and 4th grade parents – for supplying the cookies for the shut-ins – we couldn’t do it without YOU!

We thank Jean Rush – for acquiring nine flat-screen computer monitors through the Dept. of Ag. Disposition of Property program – much needed additions to our computer lab. Thanks too, to husband Ray – who delivered them directly to us. We appreciate the donations very much!

Due to the snow day on December 16th – SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION ON JANUARY 17 – MLK.

We wish all of you a very Merry and restful Christmas!
Be safe and enjoy your children’s smiles on Christmas morning!
