CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK: We
will kick off Catholic Schools week on Monday by CELEBRATING OUR STAFF.
If you signed up to bring in food items, make sure you check the updated list
that is in this week’s Friday folder and have items here Monday morning. A copy
of the activities may be found on the reverse side of these notes for your
reference. All dress down days are as outlined except for Wednesday. Dress
code bottoms must be worn with royal blue community shirts. We are looking
forward to a great week! Thanks to all the great parents who are helping
through the week and all who planned the activities. It is so very much
appreciated!
ALL SCHOOLS MASS AT 8:00 AM, Sunday February 1st: Student ministry assignments are in this week’s folder. The Mass will be the culmination of Catholic Schools’ Week for our parish. Students should wear school dress code to church. All are welcome!
SHOW ME SUDS: Show Me Suds Laundry Fundraiser is back! This is the perfect time to purchase laundry soap, dishwasher tablets, and dryer sheets for your family. The sale will start on Friday, January 31st, and run until Friday, February 20th. Delivery is estimated to be early March. Order forms will be sent home next week. Proceeds will go towards OLOS School and NCYC. Please contact Joan Doerhoff at (573) 619-5356 for more information.
DRESS CODE: Just a few reminders about the dress code we discussed at the last Home and School Meeting. Preschool students should always wear Velcro or Slip on shoes or sneakers, please no tie shoes. All students are required to wear shoes that have a back on them, no slip-on shoes or crocs. Shoes must be tennis-like shoes and meet the requirements in the handbook. Boots are only allowed on dress down days, and this rule applies to preschool students as well.

QUIZ BOWLS UPDATE: Quiz Bowl practices have been taking place on Thursdays after lunch. The scrimmage schedule is listed above. Good luck to our team, having their second meet this Thursday.
VALENTINTE’S PARTIES: Classroom Parents are in charge of planning classroom party activities and for coordinating treats and other refreshments. Please update the classroom teacher with your plans. The list of parents are on the following page for the upcoming Valentine’s Party held on Friday February 13th beginning at 2:30. Thank you for volunteering!!
DATE HAS CHANGED!! SERVER APPRECIATION EVENT! We are so grateful for our altar servers and as a way of saying ‘Thank You!’, the Vocation Ministry team is hosting a server appreciation event at Jetz Jump Park on February 1st, 2026, from 2-3pm. All servers are invited to attend, however sign-up is REQUIRED. Please sign up at the back of church or by texting Jenna at 573-821-3822 before 1/25.

ARCHERY: We will continue to have archery practice on Wednesday nights from 4:30-5:30 pm. The students are still practicing for the upcoming meets they will attend. Once the tournament dates are all set, we will let you all know the locations and times. Thanks for being patient as we try to navigate through this new process.
