Notes for a short week!
If our community shirts do not come in by Tuesday,
the Community Service Shirt Day on Wednesday, 9/4, will be a regular dress code
for Mass day.
The 7/8 graders will perform the 8:00 am Mass ministries on
Wednesday, 9/4. We will have a rosary in the gym that afternoon at 2:30 pm in
remembrance of our Mother Mary’s birthday (which falls on Sept. 7). Mrs. Cindy
will also bake birthday cake in her honor for the students to enjoy at
lunchtime. Thank you, Mrs. Cindy!
Friday, Sept. 6th is a regular dress down day.
August extended care statements will be sent in the folder
on Fri., Sept. 6th.
Book Fair week begins with family night on Monday, Sept. 9,
from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, before the Home & School (6:00 pm) and Fantasy Night
(7:00 pm) Meetings.
Remember that Grandparents’ Day is fast approaching! On Wed.,
Sept. 11, we will begin the morning with Mass at 8:00 am and move over to
school afterwards for classroom time, book fair shopping and refreshments. If grandparents
can’t make it, feel free to invite someone to fill in.
We wish everyone a very happy and fun five day Labor Day
weekend! Remember that our parish picnic is a great way for you to fill many of
your 20 required service hours. Let us all pray for good weather, and a
successful day, all working together for the good of our parish and community.
