WEEKEND MASS MINISTRY: Our first OLOSS student led weekend Mass for this school year will be THIS Sunday, November 5th – 10:00 am. Your child’s teacher has assigned ministries based on returned forms.
COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY: Tuesday is November Community Service Day. All students should wear
their yellow HEART shirts. Students will be gearing their activities to
recognizing our vets, active military, and volunteers. Students may dress down
ONLY if they wear the yellow shirts. All length requirements remain the
same.
VETERANS DAY ACTIVITIES: We will celebrate Veterans Day this Friday, November 10th. We will begin our morning at church with a Prayer Service for Veterans & Active Military at 8:00 am. We will then move over to school for fun & fellowship from 8:30 – 9:00 am. Please make sure to invite all vets, active military & spouses to share this time with us. Students will be able to dress down in red, white, & blue or camo. There will be no Mass/Prayer Service on Wednesday, Nov. 8th.
2/3/4 FIELD TRIP NOVEMBER 10TH: Parents attending the Field trip, we welcome you to attend our Veterans Day activities before departing on the field trip at 9:15 am.
HOME & SCHOOL MEETING: Our next H & S meeting will be on Monday, November 13th, beginning @ 6:00 pm with a potluck meal. Please make plans to attend to help plan & coordinate school activities and to keep up with what’s going on in the classrooms. You will also earn a bonus dress down pass for your child! Students are welcome and can use the gym for recreation.
FOOD DRIVE: We will be collecting Thanksgiving dinner items through Friday, November 17th for the Eugene Christian Church Food Panty. If we reach our goal of 400 items, we will have a schoolwide ice cream party! See insert for full details. Thank you for supporting our Student Council’s food drive!
FLOAT PLANNING MTG – Tues., Nov. 7th @ 6:30 pm in the school cafeteria. The Mary’s Home Christmas Parade is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 24th. Please attend this meeting to help plan our float!
