STUDENT-PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES will
be held on Thursday, October 19th. All families must attend
conferences this quarter to receive grade cards. Please find and fill out the sign
up form in today’s folder and return on Monday.
NO AFTERNOON EXTENDED CARE services will be available on Thursday, October 19th due to conferences. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
$10,000 FANTASY NIGHT – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14TH: If you haven’t had a chance to get your Fantasy Night ticket yet, there are less than 50 available. Please contact Rosie in the school office or Marla at the bank to get yours. Please let Rosie know if you need a couple to sell, if there are still people you haven’t approached. Let’s get those tickets sold!
FANTASY NIGHT DRIVE THROUGH & TO GOS: For those unable to attend the event, there is a DRIVE THRU pickup scheduled for 5:00 – 6:00 pm. Please enter at the cemetery road and follow around the side of the gym. Someone will greet you at the marked side door and get your meals. Please have your ticket ready. Exit by the bank. The INSIDE carry out window will be open from 5:00 – 6:00 pm and then again 30 minutes AFTER the last table has been served.
THE FANTASY NIGHT WORK ASSIGNMENT SHEETS are in today’s folder. Please look these over carefully for your work spot. If you haven’t had a chance to turn your sign up in (sent home last week), please fill in your name in a needed slot on today’s copy and return it on Monday. Keep in mind that we rely on all families to help set up and clean up, regardless of the areas they help in otherwise. Let’s all work together like a family to make this a super fundraiser! Thank you for your support!
FANTASY NIGHT SILENT AUCTION: It is not too late to donate items for the Silent Auction, which occurs in conjunction with Fantasy Night, or to seek an item or items from local businesses or someone you do business with. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Hagenhoff or Rosie in the office.
FANTASY NIGHT – ITEMS STILL NEEDED! Thanks to all who volunteered to donate items from the list. Please go ahead and send your items in early in the week. Items still needed include big bags of Kingsford Charcoal (no substitutes), 2 big bags of mints, 1 case Diet Coke, 5 cases 7-up. Please let Rosie, Roselyn, Jena, or Mrs. Varner know if you can donate any of the remaining items. Thank you!
HALLOWEEN PLANS: We invite all parents, parishioners, and community members to participate in our 4th annual Trunk or Treat, which will be on Halloween day, Tuesday, October 31st at 1:30 pm in the parking lot in front of the brick school building. The students will go on their annual “Halloween Walk”, trick or treating (in costume) through local businesses and offices, and then walk through the Trunk or Treat area. Please help spread the word to community members – all are invited to treat the kiddos! Please call the school office if you or someone you know would like to participate. When planning for costumes for your child, we ask that students not wear scary or gory costumes. No fake blood, devils, etc. Keep it light and fun!
