Please sign & return the enclosed report/form on Monday. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher.

CSW STUDENT DAY will be rescheduled. We are waiting to see if we can get someone to oversee the bowling alley so that all students may bowl. We are also still planning on getting the 5th & 6th graders out in the community to deliver treats. More information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2nd GRADERS for winning the CSW door decorating contest! For their efforts, they will get a dress down day on February 21st, and also an extra recess. Special recognition also to the preschoolers, whose door won “runner up”!

HOME & SCHOOL MEETING CHANGED TO THIS WEEK! The Home & School meeting previously scheduled for Feb. 6th has been rescheduled to this Tuesday, Feb. 13th, due to the Ordination/Installation ceremony of the new bishop. We will have a potluck at 6:30 pm and begin the meeting at 7:00 pm. All attendees will earn a bonus dress down pass for their child/ren.

TAX INFORMAION: If you need record of payments for 2017 tax purposes for preschool or extended care, you may find record of all payments on Option C. STATIONS OF THE CROSS for school children will be on Tuesday afternoons this Lent, at 2:15, beginning on Feb. 20th. Also, on Feb. 20, Father Greg will hear Confessions – grades 2-8. On Tuesday, Feb. 13, Father Greg will lead a Mardi Gras Prayer Service outside, at 7:50 am, after the morning prayer and pledge. Palms will be burned at this service to prepare the ashes for the next day, Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent.

ASH WEDNESDAY MASS: All school staff will be at church on Ash Wednesday. If you are bringing your child in late (after 7:50 am) please bring them directly to church, as all school doors will be locked.

GUN RAFFLE: Congratulations to the February winners, Lucas Kirkweg and Tony Hagerman! Lucas won the Taurus 605 .357 revolver. Tony won the Browning BI Lever Action .22. There are still tickets available, and will be available until all are sold. Of course, the sooner the ticket is purchased, the more chances you have to win. There are still 10 chances to win (2 per month). Next drawing will be March 15th, at the School Board meeting. Tickets are available through Mr. V at the school office, Greg Koetting, or Jay Harms. Thank you for your support.

IF YOUR CHILD EXHIBITS ANY OF THESE SIGNS AT HOME – NO MATTER HOW MILD – PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME AS A PRECAUTION. If your child has the flu, doctors generally recommend that they do not return to school for one week.
