PROGRESS REPORTS: Today in this folder you will find your child’s midterm report or a sign-off sheet. Students in Grades K-2 receive a mid-term report and students’ reports in Grades 3-8 are to be viewed online at www.optionc.com, with our school code – 8085 – and your individual username and password. Please sign & return the enclosed report/form on Monday. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher.

ITALIAN FEAST THANKS! The Italian Feast was a huge success, with much fun, food, and fellowship. Thanks so much to all who helped make this event so successful. We will publish the final report as soon as all the bills are in.

SNOW DAY MAKE-UP: SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2017, DUE TO THE SNOW DAY ON JAN. 13TH.

HOME & SCHOOL MEETING: Thanks to all the parents and staff who attended the H & S meeting on Tuesday evening. If you were there, you should find dress down passes for your child in today’s folder. If you did not receive yours, please contact Rosie in the office.

VALENTINE’S PARTIES: Parties are this TUESDAY! A list of room parents may be found in today’s folder for your reference. We depend on you to coordinate for snacks, drinks, and games for the students’ parties. The parties are this Tuesday, February 14th at 1;30 pm.

8TH GRADE RETREAT is this Thursday, Feb. 16th.  Patsy Bond & Cindy Lepper will be driving and chaperoning our 8th graders that day. Students please be to school no later than 7:40 so that the group may be on its way by 7:45. Remember to wear your spirit shirts, and you may wear nice jeans (no holes or appearance of holes). Please bring a little money for a trip to Central Dairy on the way home. Also, remember to bring warm outer layers if it is cold that day, because they usually do some outside activities, regardless of the temperature.

BALL SCORES: The JV Girls had a rough way to go at their last basketball game against St. Thomas on Wednesday night, losing with a final score of 4-24. The JV Boys had another successful night on Thursday night against St. Martin, with a winning score of 39-16. Win or lose, we are proud of all of you! Everyone – please come out on Thursday night to cheer our teams on to victory. The girls play two consecutive games at home, followed by the boys playing the last game. These are both team’s final regular season games, and we especially want to recognize our outgoing 8th grade players – Kayla Bond, Hannah Evers, Elizabeth Kliethermes, Kyle Bond, Alex Evers, Devin Haeffner, Jonathan Lepper, Trenton Parr, & Gavin Wood. Hope you had a “ball” playing ball!
