FRIDAY AFTERNOON HELP: On Friday, Feb. 3rd
we will prepare for the Italian Feast. If you would be able to help out on Friday afternoon, anytime from 12:30 pm
on, it would be greatly appreciated. We will begin browning the hamburger and
start on the cheesecakes. If you would be able to help in the afternoon,
contact Ashley Kempker or Rosie in the office. As always, we expect all school
parents to help prepare for this fundraiser, either by helping in the afternoon
or the evening.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK INFORMATION is in
today’s folder. Please look the information over and return the Mass attendance
form. Please note – the CSW kick-off Mass has been moved from Saturday evening
to Sunday morning – 10:00 am Mass, on January 29, 2017. Donuts & coffee will
be served to the families and community afterwards in the parish center.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK MEALS: From Jan. 27 through Feb. 3
students will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week by getting to choose their
classroom favorites. We are offering lunches to all students normally bringing
a sack lunch, for $3/day per child. Today, sack lunch students should find an
order form in their folder. Please return on Monday.
LUNCH ON MONDAY will be Grilled Cheese,
Vegetable Soup, Sting Cheese, & Fruit.
OLOS SCHOOL IS SPONSORING A SHILOH DANCE ON JANUARY 21, 2017. Tickets will be sold at the door. Make plans now to help out and/or
attend. If you would be able to help out, and didn’t return your sign-up sheet yet,
contact the office or Ashley Groose with your offer to help.
GUN/QUILT RAFFLE: Along with the Shiloh dance,
the school is sponsoring a quilt/gun raffle. Tickets are $10 each. If you are
interested in purchasing or selling tickets, please contact Jay Harms, Greg
Koetting, or Mr. Vandike. A copy of the ticket may be found on the reverse side
of these notes.

end of January, so that they may be submitted at beginning of February
MARCH FOR LIFE NEWS: On Sunday, January
15 in the Cathedral Undercroft, there will be a mandatory meeting
following the 11:00 AM Mass at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City for
anyone who has not attended the Diocesan march for life before. If you are new
and plan to take part in the march, please attend this meeting. We are
holding it after the 11:00 AM Mass so you can arrive in time to attend Mass if
you live a good distance from Jefferson City. At this meeting, we will convey
important details about the pilgrimage and answer any questions you may have. YOUR CHILD SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT HOME A
PACKET WITH DETAILS OF THIS MEETING AND TRIP ON WEDNESDAY. If you don’t have
it, ask them for it.
