SCHOOL – TEACHER WORKSHOP
NEXT WEEK we will be in session only two days.
Along with being off for Easter on Monday & Tuesday, we will be off next
Friday, April 1st, for teacher workshops. The 3rd & 4th
have a fun field trip planned on Wednesday (March 30), doing activities around
the Capitol. Due to the short week, we
will not be publishing the weekly newsletter next week. We will, however, send
the folders home with the April lunch & activities calendar, along with any
other pertinent information.
LOOKING TO THE WEEK OF APRIL 4TH:
·
We will begin the week with the 5th
& 6th field trip on Monday, to Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville
to see the Clydesdale farm and on to Columbia for a visit to Columbia College.
Remember to bring along money for the gift shop (if desired), and your lunch
and drink if you are packing a lunch from home.
·
Kindergarten Testing will be during the
day, by the hour, on Monday & Tuesday (April 4,5). Mrs. Werdehausen will be
subbing in Mrs. Eickhoff’s room so that Mrs. Eickhoff can administer the skills
test.
·
8th grade pictures are
scheduled tentatively for Friday, April 8th, with an alternate date
of April 15th. This will be a full day of picture taking, going out
to eat, etc. for the five 8th graders. 8th grade parents
are welcome to go along. If you would
be able to drive or want to go along, please contact the office by Wednesday,
March 30, when we come back from Easter break. Stacy Schrimpf has
volunteered to take the pictures, but if any other parent wants to help out,
please feel free. Permission forms will be sent home next Thursday.
RICE BOWLS: Rice Bowls can be
turned in after Easter either to the school office or can be left in the main
