VALENTINE THANKS! Many
thanks to all who helped with the Valentine’s parties. We appreciate all of our
room parents and those who supplied refreshments and games! Happy Valentine’s
Day to all!
ITALIAN FEAST: If you were at the
Italian Feast, you know we had a great turnout! Thanks to all who helped and
supported this fundraiser! We will have a report in the very near future with
total income.
GOLF TOURNAMENT NEWS: The annual OLOSS Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 14th
at Redfield Golf Course in Eugene
SNOW DAY: Due to the recent snow day, school WILL BE IN SESSION this Monday,
President’s Day, February 15th.
BOX TOPS:
Gina will be sending in our next batch of Box Tops at the end of February.

CONTAINERS NEEDED: The kitchen is in need of gallon ice-cream
buckets and any larger type containers (even whipped topping containers) for
freezing. Please send in any that you may have. Thank you!
MICROWAVE NEEDED: The
microwave in the kitchen went out recently and we are really missing it. If
anyone has an extra or would like to purchase & donate a new one, it would
be greatly appreciated.
DRESS DOWN PASSES can now be
used on Wednesdays as well as
Fridays until the end of the year.
STATIONS: Students will be attending Stations of the Cross each Friday at
2:15 pm. If you or a grandparent is attending and would like to take your child
after the service, please send a note to school. This will enable the student
to bring his/her backpack to church.
WELCOME NEW BABY!
Congratulations to Megan, Charlie, Anna, Abby on sweet new little baby sister
Katherine Frances Hope Eickhoff, born Wednesday, weighing in at 6 lbs, 10 oz.
Congratulations also to happy parents, Rachael & Bobby and to Grandma
Louise here at school.
BASKETBALL UPDATE: We had a couple very exciting games last night at St. Peter’s
school! The JV girls WON their game, with a score of 36-20. After tying or being
nearly tied at the end of each quarter, the JV boys lost their game to St. Pete’s,
with a final score of 39-35. Great effort, boys! We are proud of all of our
COUGARS!
GOOD LUCK TO ALL JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL PLAYERS, PLAYING THEIR
FIRST CATHOLIC BOWL GAMES ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY! GO COUGARS!
WHOLE COMMUNITY CATECHESIS: Come
one, come all! Whole Community Catechesis is set for this Wednesday night at 6:30, beginning with a CARRY-IN MEAL. NO
HOMEWORK will be assigned for this evening, so that ALL FAMILIES may attend.

RICE BOWLS: Last week you received
a Lenten Rice Bowl. The Rice Bowl can be used in the home as a powerful tool in
your family’s Lenten journey. Your children will also be watching a DVD about
the Rice Bowl and the work that Catholic Relief Services does in their religion
classes. For Lent, you may use these tools to:
PRAY – using the daily reflections on the
calendar provided in the bowl.
FAST – with the suggested weekly meatless
meals, and learn about people around the world.
GIVE – your Lenten sacrifices to your CRS
Rice Bowl.
After Easter, you may turn your Rice
Bowl in to the school or bring it to church to turn in. Thank you!
