SCHOOL PROGRAM/MUSICAL:  The school musical is THIS SUNDAY, December 6th, after the 10:00 am Mass in the gym. Remember - We count on ALL students to make our program a success! If your child is not assigned a part with a costume, he/she should wear his/her Sunday best – NO JEANS! After Mass, all students should meet in the school cafeteria, with the exception of the preschoolers, who should go to their classroom to get ready. The reception will be hosted by the Home & School & School Board officers. If you have not already done so, please bring your two dozen cookies in before the program.

PLEASE TURN IN ALL COOKIE DOUGH MONEY BY THIS MONDAY, DECEMBER 7TH. Thanks so much to all who sold for this fundraiser. Special thanks to Patsy Bond, Christina Eickhoff, and Dianne Goetz for volunteering their time to sort & fill orders. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDERS – SOMEONE GOT CINNAMON BRAIDS INSTEAD OF CINNAMON ROLLS. ALSO – SOMEONE IS MISSING A CREAM CHEESE BRAID. Please let us know if you received the wrong item.
TUESDAY is a Holy Day of Obligation – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. IF YOU ARRIVE WITH YOUR CHILD AFTER 7:45 AM, PLEASE BRING HIM/HER DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH, AS ALL SCHOOL STAFF WILL ATTEND MASS THAT MORNING.

SANTA STORE: If you have any new or like new items that would make good gifts and would like to donate, please send them to the school office. Most needed are items for dads and brothers. You can send in items anytime now. . The date for Santa Store is TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15TH. Volunteer “elf helpers” that day are Wendy Whittle, Kathy Lea, Theresa Berendzen, Debbie Schulte, & Dianne Goetz.
SANTA STORE SET-UP:  We will be setting up the Santa Store after school on Friday, December 11th, in the art room. Any help would be much appreciated! If you are able to help, please contact Rosie or Pam or just drop in if you have the time.

PARISH PENANCE SERVICE:  Wednesday, Dec. 16th, at 7:00 pm. No homework or tests will be assigned that evening so that all families are able to attend. FIRST RECONCILIATION is also set for the same time and date. The children making their First Reconciliation and their parents will go first, before all other parishioners and guests. Parents of these youngsters – please make your Reconciliation before your child so that your child will not be scared or nervous.  PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE CHILDREN - MAY GOD BLESS THEM ALL!

THURSDAY – We will host our first basketball games Thursday evening. We invite all back to school to cheer our teams on to victory! Because we are hosting games that evening, Thursday will be a dress down in school spirit day. Students may dress down if (and only if) they wear the school sponsored spirit shirts – not reading counts shirts, etc.

LET’S WIN A FREE PLAYGROUND: Together Counts is a nationwide program inspiring active and healthy living. This program offers each year, a sweepstakes for schools to win a free playground. OLOS School is signed up for this promotion and you can go online and enter each day until March 2016. It takes only a minute to sign up initially and just a few seconds each day to submit an entry. Just think how much better our chances will be if many participate each day. So tell your friends, families, and associates. Forward this address to everyone, and ask them to help OLOS School win a new playground!  If you do not wish to be contacted for any other promotions you can deselect those options. Thank you for your support!
