Once again the room parents did a wonderful job with the classroom parties, with the fun, games, and refreshments. Thanks to all of you who made the students’ Halloween Day so spooktacular!!!

ATTENTION STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS:  There will be a meeting this Tuesday, November 6th, from after school until 4:00 pm. Parents – please remember to send a note with your council member that day giving your child permission to stay for the meeting.

The Rada Cutlery/That’s My Pan fundraiser is beginning today and you have received your packets in today’s folder. This fundraiser immediately follows the cookie dough fundraiser in order to get any items back that may be ordered as Christmas gifts. The order forms and money are due back to school on November 13th. Thank you for helping with this fundraiser!

FEES: If you have any fees due to the preschool, extended care, or lunch accounts you will find them in today’s folder. Lunch bills are posted on the 15th of each month and the extended care and preschool bills are posted at the end of each month. Parents – please remember, with the online Option C - YOU are responsible for checking your accounts and we have always asked that you PAY AHEAD. If you pay ahead, you will never have to receive a paper billing, which saves time and ink – at great savings for the school. We are non-profit, so we are paying our bills and payroll directly from the fees received from you. Please try to be prompt with payments. As always, if there are special circumstances that prevent you from making payment, please contact Mrs. Trachsel to make payment arrangements. Thanks to all who are responsibly paying their bills!

VAN FEES: There are statements coming home today for those riding the van. Fees per family due to this point include August - $50, September - $50, October - $75, November - $75, for a total of $250.00 due thus far. Van fees were raised beginning the first of October due to high costs of van service. After these payments, there are six more payments due @ $75 each, including Dec., Jan., Feb., Mar., April, & May @ $75 each. Total payment due for this school year’s van service = $700.00. Please make sure that you are on track with payments. If not, your child will be unable to use this service. Please contact Janis @ the Rectory (498-3820) if you have any questions regarding your statement.

Reminder:  All basketball players must have this completed athletic form on file, the $20 per family sports fee paid, and their physical form on file to be able to begin practicing. Please return all necessary items as soon as possible.

If you are interested in helping to coach basketball, please contact someone in the school office. A coach’s application will be sent home for you to fill out.  All coaches must have Virtus training. We need volunteers for the 5th & 6th boys’ team and the 6/7/8 girls’ team. Billy Bond has offered to coach the older boys’ team, with the assistance of Aaron Scheuler.  Aaron Wood has offered to coach the girls’ team, and Mark Adrian will coach the younger boys’ team, but we still need extra help. Please call or write a note letting us know that you are willing to help out.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS – Please remember to turn in your uniform!!!

Do you have connections with any wineries? We are in need of more representation by local wineries at our Italian Feast, scheduled for Feb. 2, 2013. If you have any ideas, please contact Mrs. Groose.

BEEF STICKS ARE BACK!! Students can purchase beef sticks during lunch for $1 each. If you would like a box of 30 sent home, the price is $30. All profits go to the school. Thank you for your support!

Yearbooks from the 2011-12 school year are in and if you’d like to order the cost is $10 each. Please put payment in envelope marked “yearbook”, return in this folder, and we will fill your order in next week’s Friday folder.

Thanks to Mrs. Haeffner and the 5th grade class for the wonderful job they did of picking up trash around the parish facilities. You did a great job!
