OLOS School is in need of three School Advisory Board members for the current school year. If you are interested and willing, please contact school office personnel.

If you did not fill your church/school tithing form out in the registration packets (last spring) a new copy may be found in today’s folder. Father Pat asks all parents to participate fully by returning this form. We will continue to seek this form until all are returned.

We have a “school spirit” day scheduled for this Friday, Sept 2^nd. Students may dress down ONLY if they are wearing the official school spirit shirts (made by Tammy Love). Students may NOT wear sports uniforms to dress down.

There will be a Fantasy Night committee meeting this Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. This is a newly forming committee to be involved in all aspects of planning and carrying out Fantasy Night. If you are interested, but cannot make the meeting or if you have any questions, please call Lynn Kempker @ 821-4922. This is a great opportunity to get involved in our school – hope to see you there!

Good luck to our volleyball players, as we officially begin the playing season, especially to the JV team, who plays on Thursday evening!

Go to http://www.boxtops4education.com/ to enroll in daily chances to win bonus box tops for our school. The current promotion is 250,000 bonus box tops. When you set up your account, General Mills will send you a daily email reminding you to enter each day – just takes a couple seconds to do. Who knows – we may win one of these days!

Deadline for Friday note information is Thursdays, 9:00 am. All non-school related flyers need to be copied ahead of time on paper (the school cannot afford to supply paper for outside events). Upon approval by the principal, the information will then be placed in the Friday folder as a courtesy. It is not appropriate for the school to send out extraneous information that can be handled other ways. Also, if you have items for the Friday notes, please write these items up, send them in, or email them to rosie@radiowire.net (call to let me know you have emailed please). I don’t mind doing a little editing and rewording, but the bulk of the item should be outlined with details.
