GRATITUDE MEAL FOR VETS & VOLUNTEERS! On Thursday, November 19th OLOS School will be having our annual Thanksgiving meal, in special honor of our dependable school volunteers & our veterans and active military. While volunteers will get individual invitations, we rely on our families to help spread the word to our military friends. Please encourage them to join us. We do ask for an RSVP by Friday, November 13th by calling/emailing the school office. We ask that all guests be seated in the gym by 10:50 am.
LEFTOVER HALLOWEEN CANDY: If you don’t know what to do with all that candy your kids collected over Halloween, you can send it our way! The school could use it for treats. Thanks!
SCHOOL WEAR ORDERING is open NOW through Nov 15th.
This is a great time to get quarter zips, school
dress code shirts and spirit shirts. Orders will arrive by the first week of
December. The ordering link is:

AND LOOKING AHEAD TO CHRISTMAS…New and gently used items are needed for the Santa Store (scheduled for students to shop Dec. 15th). Especially needed are men and boy gifts, but all donations are welcome. Each student gets to shop for free for several people, so it takes many, many items to make this day fun for our shoppers! Thanks for your support!
HOME & SCHOOL: Please make plans to attend our Home & School meeting on Monday, November 9th beginning at 6:00 pm in the school cafeteria. We will be discussing Fantasy night and our next school fundraiser. Your child will receive a dress down pass if a parent attends!
VETERAN’S DAY is Wednesday. In honor of the day, all students may dress down in red, white, blue or camo with dress code bottoms. We will honor our vets and active military on Thursday, November 19th with a complimentary Thanksgiving meal, hosted by our 7th & 8th grade students.
CALENDAR: It was brought to our attention that the November side of the calendar has the dress rehearsal on the wrong dates The correct days for Christmas Program dress rehearsal are Tuesday, December 1st @ 2:30 and Wednesday, December 2nd after Mass.
ARCHERY: Archery practice began this past Wednesday. Practices will be every Wednesday from November through March (not including Thanksgiving & Christmas breaks). Remember, your child must have a current physical on file, the athletic packet filled out & the sports fee paid to be able to actively participate in practice.
Father will be out of the parish November 3rd – 13th.
