We do ask for an RSVP by Friday, November 13th by calling/emailing the school office. We ask that all guests be seated in the gym by 10:50 am.
SCHOOL WEAR ORDERING is open NOW through Nov 15th. This is a great time to get quarter zips, school dress code shirts and spirit shirts. Orders will arrive by the first week of December. The ordering link is:

· CEMETERY LIGHTS: We are still accepting donations for the lighting of the
cemetery for all Saints/All Souls Day. Please send your donation in a marked
envelope. Thank you so very much!
· TRUNK OR TREAT: It’s not too late to let us (school
office) know that you would like to participate this Friday, October 30th (be
completely set up by 1:20 pm) Plan for approximately 70-75 trick or
treaters. Thanks so much!
·
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES: Keep in mind that we don’t want to scare any of
our little people, so no scary or gory costumes, no fake blood, axes, etc.
Let’s keep it light and fun! Please send a bucket or bag to collect goodies
at the Trunk or Treat.
LADY COUGAR VOLLEYBALL: Our volleyball girls
ended their season this past Monday. They played against St. Peter Fulton and
fell short, 20-25 and 18-25. We congratulate them on a season of hard work and
school spirit. Also, thanks so much to the cheer girls & their parents for
the great support at the home games – it was so much fun! We especially
appreciate Hannah Evers, Maggie Adrian, Lacey Berendzen & Olivia Lepper,
for coaching these teams!
AND LOOKING AHEAD TO CHRISTMAS…New and gently used items are needed for the Santa Store (scheduled for students to shop Dec. 16th). Especially needed are men and boy gifts, but all donations are welcome. Each student gets to shop for free for several people, so it takes many, many items to make this day fun for our shoppers! Thanks for your support!
DRESS CODE CHANGE OVER: Per dress code guidelines from the OLOSS Handbook: Full length pants must be worn October 15th- March 15th. Girls may wear navy, black or khaki leggings under appropriate length skirts or jumpers. Mrs. Varner may choose to designate a “short pants” day(s), at her discretion. The changeover started Thursday, October 15th.
HOME & SCHOOL FUNDRAISING IDEAS: We are is in the process of reviewing fundraisers. If you have a fundraiser you would like to share, please let us know. Here are a few things we would like to know… Profit, turn around time, what’s our cost, do we have to have a minimum order, is there an incentive for kids who sell the most? Please have all this information ready to submit to Mrs. Varner by Thursday, November 5th for consideration.
OCTOBER COUNT: To provide proper pastoral care to parishes, a yearly count is taken during the weekend Masses in the month of October. Please make a point to attend OLOS each weekend in October, if possible, to get an accurate count.
AS THE WEATHER COOLS remember that students may only wear solid navy, white or khaki sweaters in the classroom or at church. No sweatshirts or hoodies except on the playground/outside. And please remember… ALL LENGTH REQUIREMENTS still apply on Dress Down Days!
Please return your folder on Monday!
REMEMBER – DAYLIGHT SAVINGS ENDS SUNDAY NIGHT – “FALL BACK” ONE HOUR!
Have
a great Autumn weekend!
