setting up the book fair (it’s a big job!) to Morgan Looten for helping with
set-up, and to Mrs. Limbach for running the register so efficiently! Thanks to
all the parents & grandparents who made purchases. Proceeds from these
sales and books benefit not only for our kids but our school as well. We’ll
have totals next week.
MIDQUARTER PROGRESS REPORTS:
K-2 Progress Reports are enclosed in today’s folder. Look over these and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the classroom teacher.
3-8 Progress Reports are
available online. To access Progress Reports on your family portal - sign in,
then follow these steps:
On left, click “Student”
On left, directly under “Student Home” click “Grades”
In upper left screen click “Midterm Progress Report”
If you have more than one student, you can switch between them on the
upper left. Please sign the slip enclosed in today’s folder, acknowledging that
you reviewed the report. It is a good idea to log in weekly to check grades. This is also a good time to log in any service
hours you have performed.
STUDENT COUNCIL INFO: Students gave their campaign speeches on Thursday and did a great job! Voting took place today (Friday). We will let you know the results in next week’s notes and also have more information for all Council members. Thanks to Mrs. Groose for being the coordinator for this group.
LADY COUGAR VOLLEYBALL: Our volleyball girls played their first games on their home court this past Thursday. We will have the scores of their games in next week’s folder. On Thursday, September 24th, the girls play at Trinity Lutheran School at 7:00 & 8:00 pm. GOOD LUCK LADY COUGARS!
CHEER: Thank you to our Cheerleaders who cheered at our home volleyball game this past week! We look forward to hearing you cheer the girls on at our next home game on Thursday, October 15th! Plan on attending and supporting our team – it is so much fun!
HOME & SCHOOL: If you would like to run for Vice President, please contact the office by Wednesday, September 23rd. This is a 3-year term (1st year is Vice-Pres., 2nd year is President, 3rd year is past President – providing ongoing support to the organization). We will be sending home a ballot next week so we can have our new officers ready for our next meeting in November.
FANTASY NIGHT: A huge shoutout to Jena Schwaller and Olivia Lepper for agreeing to oversee Fantasy Night and all the planning of this event. This is a big task to take on, and we appreciate the two of you!! If you see them around, please be sure to thank them.
CEMETERY LIGHTS: The school is accepting donations for the lighting of the cemetery for all Saints/All Souls Day. Last year we placed 1800 lights. Cost per hundred is approximately $35- $40. Please send your donation in a marked envelope. Thank you so very much!
