SCHOOL CALENDAR INPUT: Thank you for your input on the school calendar. 92% of families indicated that they prefer an 8:00 am prayer service followed by family breakfast and parties with a final dismissal at 10:00 am on the day we break for Christmas.
OLOS SCHOOL utilizes ONLINE application & enrollment. The application/enrollment for new students & enrollment for existing students is open. You will need to log in to your portal & complete and submit the enrollment packet. Our goal is to have all existing students re-enrolled no later than April 13th. Students will receive a bonus dress down pass for the next school year if this deadline is met.
GROUP PHOTOS: We will be taking
group photos of different clubs we have had throughout this school year. ALL
STUDENTS are to wear their royal blue community shirts with dress code
bottoms on Wednesday, April 8th.
CARDINAL’S BASEBALL GAME: Ticket information is in today’s folder. If you need any modification, please let the office know. We are excited for the students and staff to be able to enjoy this event!
CANDY/TREATS NEEDED: We would love donations to help fill our Easter eggs for the students’ hunt on April 7th. Donations can be small candy treats or other types of treats (think small carnival type prizes). Please send in any donations early next week so that we know how much we need to purchase. Please no chocolate or anything that could melt easily. Thanks so much!
FISHING DAY AT LEPPER LAKE: Students in grades 3-8 will be fishing this Wednesday, April 1st, after lunch. We welcome any & all parents to attend. We are still in need of a few more DRIVERS. We would love to have you join us for a fun afternoon at a beautiful lake! We have approximately 20 rods/reels (made possible through a grant from Mo. Dept. of Conservation), but if your student has their own, they should bring them. Please be sure to send with your child sunscreen, bug spray or anything they will need while fishing. As a reminder, students cannot share these items. Drivers – we will bring students to you in the parking lot behind the gym at 12:00 noon.
BABY SHOWER PLANNED! Mrs. Groose & the Student Council are once again sponsoring our annual Baby Shower for mothers & babies in need. The planned date is Wednesday, April 8th. More information on specific needs is in today’s folder. We appreciate your support of this important service project.
WEEKLY DRESS DOWN PASS WINNER(S)! Congratulations to Alayna for winning this week! Remember – return your folder (with paperwork complete) by Monday to be added to the weekly drawing.
NO FAMILY NEWSLETTER next week due to the short week. We wish you a very peaceful and happy Easter!
