GRANDPARENTS’ DAY WAS A SUCCESS! We loved having the grandparents with us here on Wednesday, and the students were so very happy to share the morning with them.  Thanks to all who supported the Book Fair and took the time to visit the classrooms. Thanks to Fr. Simon for the beautiful Mass and to Kaitlyn Connell & Jessica Groosel for coordinating the event

BOOK FAIR NEWS: Thanks to you, our wonderful parents and grandparents, OLOS School did $2696 in book sales. This is our best year to date, up almost $600 from last year. Through the bookfair sales, we accumulate Scholastic rewards and redeem for items needed for our classrooms such as books, classroom rugs, math manipulatives, etc. Thanks so much to Mrs. Groose & daughters for coordination & set-up of the event, and to Mrs. Limbach for helping with check-out. We appreciate all the hard work and donated time.

COMMUNITY SHIRTS FOR SALE: We have several child sizes medium, large & XL & adult size small royal blue community shirts for sale for $5 each. So, if you need an extra, please send payment and size in a marked envelope.

SCHOOL SQUIRES: We are wanting to form a group of men who we could call on to help with upkeep and small tasks around the school and parish campus. (For example, small playground projects, hanging a clock, door handles, etc.) Andy Adrian has graciously agreed to lead the Squires. Please contact school office staff if you would like to help.

STUDENT COUNCIL INFO for grades 4-8 is in today’s folder. Please note that although the flyer says essays are due September 9th, the new due date is September 16th. We are excited to see what new plans the Student Council will come up with for this school year. Thanks to Mrs. Groose & Mrs. Belshe for being coordinators for this group.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SPONSOR TREATS? We are looking for families and/or businesses to sponsor drinks and/or snacks for staff throughout the school year. If you would like to do this, please contact office staff.
