WAY TO GO LADY COUGARS!. The games last weekend were exciting! We are happy to report that the girls won all three sets in their first game against Our Lady of Lourdes, Columbia, with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-14. OLOS lost their second game (but just barely!), with set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 24-25. We are very proud of our Lady Cougars! A net profit of $325 was made between concession sales and gate entry. We had our Cheer Squad onsite for the games – and they were TERRIFIC! They added so much fun to the morning! Thank you for supporting our Lady Cougars! Good luck tomorrow at St. Joseph, Jefferson City!

Rosie Beck (W,Th)                   rbeck@olosschool.org

Amber Schulte (MTF) amberschulte@olosschool.org

Lucinda Varner                      lvarner@olosschool.org

COMMUNICATION: As we transition office staffing, please include all three of the office staff in any email regarding school day schedules, early pick-ups, etc. Thank you for your cooperation!

SERVICE HOURS: As a condition of enrollment, 20 hours of service to OLOS School & Parish is required of parents of all school children. Most parents do many more than 20 hours of service, but the expectation is that you do at least 20 per household. Student service hours are not included in the 20; they have their own goals within the school and classroom. Parent service hours should be logged on your family portal. Once in your portal, on the left side choose “Family”, select the parent’s name at the top middle, click “add” in the righthand corner and log your hours. They will be verified periodically by the school office staff. For tracking purposes, it may be easier to log all service hours performed by either parent under the parent who normally checks the portal. If you are not able to fulfill this obligation by the end of the school year, you may pay the hours out @ $20/hour, for a total of $400. The Parish Picnic and Fantasy Night are great opportunities to log several hours of service.

REMEMBER - NO SCHOOL THIS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH, DUE TO DIOCESAN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FOR STAFF.
