CONGRATULATIONS to the 13 students receiving their First Eucharist this Sunday at noon. Ten of the students are OLOS School students. They are: Landon Backues, Madelyn Doerhoff, Eli Eickhoff, Jacob Eickhoff, Romie Groose, Olivia Koetting, Karter Lage, Tanner Lage, Gus Pringer, & Nicholas Vandike. May God abundantly bless all 13 of these youngsters as they take this momentous step in their Catholic life.

DARE GRADUATION: Dare graduation for 5th & 6th graders will be Monday, May 13th at 8:00 am, with a reception of donuts & juice in the cafeteria. All 5th & 6th grade parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

PEP ASSEMBLY FRIDAY! The Student Council is sponsoring a pep assembly on Friday, with “special” activities for our 8th graders, who will be ending up their last day of class at OLOS that day. All families are welcome to attend.

THE AMAZING RACE! For our Field Day, on May 16th, students will be participating in the Amazing Race in the morning. It promises to be great fun for all and we are excited about it! However, to put on these events for the kids, we do need our volunteers! If you are able to help out that morning, please send a note or call the office. We thank Tracey B, for being our first volunteer!

FIELD TRIP FORMS: Please find, fill out, & return the enclosed field trip form for The Amazing Race. Students will be visiting M. H. Bank, The Corner Mkt., & OLOS Credit Union.  

ALL SCHOOL BILLS must be paid IN FULL for your child to receive their final grade cards/diplomas, as well as for the transfer of any academic records.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL SCHEDULE: Friday, May 17, 2019.
Prayer Service or Mass – 8:00 am
Preschool Graduation – 9:30 am – gym
Awards Ceremony – following PS Grad – 9:45ish?
School dismisses at 11:00 am – NO LUNCH SERVED,
NO EXTENDED CARE SERVICES (pm)

TOTUS TUUS: June 10-14 for K-6th graders

BOX TOPS: We recently received a check in the amount of $63 for our recent submission. Thanks to all who clip and save box tops, and to Joan Doerhoff, for heading up this program.


OLOSS “BEE” KIND CLUB: Students who were recognized for acts of kindness and generosity on April 29 were: PK – Cash Evers – pushing friends on the swings, K – Brena Groose – sharing her toys at recess,  1st – Ryan Russell – helping K students with rocket math,  2nd – Eli Eickhoff – letting someone go in front of him in the bathroom line, 3rd – Nora Burrows – being so kind to everyone, 4th – Gracie Silvey – being a great helper in the classroom, 5th –Austin Doerhoff – volunteering to help in the cafeteria, 6th – Emma Goetz – volunteering to get work together for someone, 7th –Bella Groose – volunteering to help Mrs. Werdehausen, 8th – Jordan Bittle – a “joyful spirit”. All acts of kindness “bees” are displayed in the school cafeteria. Great job, students!
