this weekend. They are: Austin Burnett, Oliver Burrows, Austin Doerhoff,
Anna Eickhoff, Mikayla Eickhoff, Ben Goetz, Karley Lage, Aubrey Schulte, &
Nolan Schulte. Please pray for these students and all of the students receiving
First Eucharist this weekend!
PROGRESS REPORTS were
available last week. If you have not already done so, please sign & return
slips/progress reports on Monday.
SKETCH DAY: Congratulations to the students attending Sketch Day at the Capitol last
Tuesday – they did a wonderful job on their sketches! Special recognition to
Emily Love, who took 2nd place in the charcoal/pencil division, and
to Hannah Evers, who received Honorable Mention in the same category. We also
recognize the other students who received ribbons of participation - Kayla
Bond, Alex Evers, Devin Haeffner, Elizabeth Kliethermes, Ava Puckett, &
Justin Schrimpf. We are proud of you ALL!
THURSDAY is Ascension Thursday, a
Holy Day of Obligation. ALONG WITH THE STUDENTS, ALL SCHOOL STAFF WILL BE
ATTENDING MASS THAT MORNING. IF YOU BRING YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL AFTER 7:45,
PLEASE BRING HIM/HER DIRECTLY TO CHURCH.
FEES OWED: As we approach the end of the year, we would like to remind all
families that final grade cards will only be issued to students whose fees are
paid in full. This includes, but is not limited to, sustaining fees, lost
library book fees, preschool &/or extended care fees, school
support/tithing, lunch fees, rule violation fees, lost textbook fees, etc. FINAL FEE NOTICES WILL BE SENT HOME NEXT
FRIDAY.
READING COUNTS: If your child earned
200 points by April 22, field trip packets are in today’s folder.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO FILL THESE FORMS OUT COMPLETELY AND ATTACH THE $5
PAYMENT. Please be considerate of the driving arrangements. Friends may not get
to ride with friends. It was a BIG job to get this all organized, and consider
that it’s less than an hour trip and it is a wonderful opportunity to make new
connections!
STUDENTS NOT ATTENDING THE TRIP: This
will be a normal day of school for those not attending. Students not attending
will be held accountable for all assignments that day, even if they earned the
200 points and choose not to go.
LIBRARY BOOKS: The last day to check out books was Tuesday,
April 26th. All books need to be turned in to the library by
Tuesday, May 3rd. Thanks so much to Debbie Schulte, Dianne Goetz,
and Christina Eickhoff for all their hard work and volunteer hours in our
library this year.
FIELD DAY:
Students will be enjoying Field Day on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. This will
be a dress down day.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL: The last
day of school is set for Wednesday, May 18th, dismissing at 12:00
noon, with the Awards ceremony set for 9:30 am. THERE WILL BE NO EXTENDED CARE
SERVICES AVAILABLE THAT AFTERNOON.
GOLF TOURNAMENT NEWS: The annual OLOSS Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 14th
at Redfield Golf Course in Eugene. Get the word out now and try to get people
signed up to play and sponsor holes for this event!

Fridays until the end of the year.

15. Orders will be placed on May 16. Order forms can be placed in the
