Please sign & return the enclosed report/form on Monday. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher.

GERBES:  OLOS has recently enrolled in the Gerbes “Community Rewards” program. This program offers money back to our school, based on enrolled customer’s spending. It is a really easy process. You just tie your Gerbes shopper’s card to our school account. If you don’t have a Gerbes shopper’s card, it takes less than a minute to get one at the store and also online. All the information needed to complete this process online is enclosed in the folder today. It takes less than 5 minutes to tie your shopper’s card to the school account. Get all your family and friends to register as well! The school will receive quarterly payments in cash form. We will update you as we receive those funds. This has the potential to be a huge moneymaker for the school – the key is to get many, many people involved. Please pass the word and thanks for supporting OLOS School!!!

ALL PARENTS:  Please fill out the enclosed Reading Counts form, which deals with transportation. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND RETURN NECESSARY FORMS ON MONDAY. Thank you!

EXTENDED CARE: There will be extended care services offered both the morning and afternoon of the last day of school, May 14th. School will dismiss at 12:00 Noon.

FEE REMINDER:  It is school policy that students will only receive final report cards if ALL SCHOOL FEES ARE PAID IN FULL. For 8th graders, the same applies, as well as no release of records to other schools and no graduation diploma if fees are not paid in full. Included in this are lunch, preschool, extended care, book/tech, lost library or textbooks, non-returned uniforms, out of and in parish school support, etc. We will send final fee reminders a couple weeks before school dismisses for the summer. The final day of school is Thursday, May 14th, which will be a half-day, dismissing at 12:00 noon. Lunch will be served. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 9:30 am that morning.

LUNCH BILLING:  Today you are receiving a final lunch bill if you owe.  If you do not receive a bill today, it means your child’s lunch account is paid in full for this school year.

CHANGE OF MENU: Due to late commodity delivery, the menu will change to the following:  The lunches for April 23rd & April 30th will be switched. On the 23rd we will serve the chicken patties, mashed potatoes & gravy, carrots & fruit meal. On the 30th we will serve the chicken alfredo, garlic bread, broccoli, corn, & fruit meal. On April 28th, we will serve cheeseburgers instead of the roast beef sandwich, along with chips, lettuce, fresh veggies, and fruit.

DRESS DOWN PASSES: All remaining birthday and meeting dress down passes may be used on WEDNESDAYS – due to the fact that the remaining Fridays are all scheduled dress down days.

8th GRADE PARENTS: Today you are receiving five graduation invitations to pass out to your family. If you need more, please copy as needed or you may request more from the office.
