graders, the same applies, as well as no release of records to other schools
and no graduation diploma if fees are not paid in full. Included in this are
lunch, preschool, extended care, book/tech, lost library or textbooks,
non-returned uniforms, out of and in parish school support, etc. We will send final fee reminders on MAY 1ST.

CONGRATULATIONS to CAMERON
HAEFFNER, who placed third in the 8th grade division of the Spelling
Bee at St. Martin ’s School on Tuesday. Way to
go, Cameron! We also congratulate all participating: Jordan Bittle, Tyler
Groose, Grace Groose, Macy Adrian, Sara Beck, Gracie Evers, Devin Haeffner,
Kayla Bond, Gavin Wood, Tevin Groose, Emily Love, Joe Beck, Andrew Schulte
& Cody Schulte. 21 Schools participated in this event.
BEEF STICKS: We still have beef
sticks left. We will not be selling them again next year. If you would like
some, send a note saying how many. You can pay with cash or check to OLOS. They
are $1 each. Thank you for your support!
DRESS
DOWN PASSES: All remaining birthday and meeting dress down
passes may be used on WEDNESDAYS – due to the fact that the remaining Fridays
are all scheduled dress down days.
REMINDER TO PARENTS OF STUDENTS BRINGING LUNCHES FROM HOME: Please see
that your child’s lunch has everything they need for their meal – plates,
utensils, condiments, napkins. The lunch program cannot afford to supply these
things if the student is not buying the daily lunch.
8TH GRADE PARENTS:
Please find & return cap/gown info. enclosed in today’s folder. Also – due
to the small size of the 7th grade class and the expectation of
approximately 200 guests, there have been a couple offers for assistance with
food refreshments from 8th grade parents. It is much appreciated! IF
you want to help out by bringing in an appetizer for the reception (or
ingredients) please contact Rosie in the school office. If you call she can
fill you in on what is still needed. Thank you!
TRASH
BAGS: We have some rolls of white trash bags (15 gallon)
for sale that are left over from last year’s fundraiser. They are $12.00 a
roll. Make checks payable to Our Lady of the Snows Parish. (We are sold
out of the blue 55 gallon type.)
EXTENDED CARE: There will be extended
care services offered both the morning and
afternoon of the last day of school, May 14th. School will
dismiss at 12:00 Noon.
GARDENING COMMITTEE: We are asking for
volunteers for the summer gardening committee. If we get enough help, families
are usually assigned to two weeks during the summer to keep the watering done
& to pull weeds. Please send a note to the office with your offer to help. So
far, Bryan and Stacey Evers, Brittany Goetz, & Amanda Koetting have volunteered.
FRESHMAN
ORIENTATION: Freshman
Orientation at Cole
R-5 High
School is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29th, at 6:00 pm in the PAC
(Performing Arts Center) and the High School gym. All incoming Freshmen and
their parents need to attend this meeting.
GOLF TOURNAMENT: Please keep
trying to get some new sponsors and/or teams into the tournament. This is a
major fundraiser for our school & parish, so please support it as you are
able. The tournament is scheduled for
Saturday, May 16, 2015. If you need additional flyers, please contact the
office.
Just a reminder to all that if someone
sponsors a hole in the golf tournament, the full amount is tax deductible.
