Thank you so much to the three wonderful ladies and the Miller Co. Health Dept. nurses who helped with the health screenings on Monday. We thank Debbie Schulte, Dianne Goetz, and Elaine Kempker – who so generously donated their time and talent. IF THERE WERE ANY CONCERNS REGARDING YOUR CHILD, YOU WILL FIND NOTICE IN TODAY’S FOLDER.
Thanks to all the OLOS parents – for sending in the wonderful selection of pies for Grandparents’ Day. We thank all grandparents for spending the afternoon with us – it was enjoyed by all!
Pie pans with no names – could one be yours? One clear glass Pyrex, one black metal, one square Pampered chef. Claim at the office.
Spirit Shirt order forms are in today’s folder. Please return, with payment attached, to school office by Monday, September 24th if you wish to order. Thanks!
Yearbooks from the 2010-11 school year are in and if you qualified for one (or more) with your order packet last year you should find it in today’s folder. If you did not get one with your packet or if you’d like to order additional copies, the cost is $10 each. Please put payment in envelope marked “yearbook”, return in this folder, and we will fill your order in next week’s Friday folder.
Remember – once your child earns the 75 point Reading Counts T-shirt, he/she may wear them at any time in lieu of their regular dress code collared shirt.
We will host our first of two volleyball games this Thursday evening, with our teaming playing at 8:00 pm. We encourage all OLOS families, friends, and neighbors to come cheer these girls on to victory and support our team!
Workers for Thursday night games: (September 20) (Parents of…) Gate – 6:00 pm – Kenadi Trachsel, 7:00 pm – Dakota Graham, 8:00 pm– Madison Evers; Concession – 6:00 pm – Makinzie Morgan, 7:00 pm – Gabby Morff, 8:00 pm– Kalie Massman, Scorekeeper – 6:00 pm – Rachel Buechter, Ariana Evers, 7:00 pm – Ashley Kauffman, Erin Love, 8:00 pm - Ashley Kauffman, Abby Puckett. If you are on 1st shift, please come at least ½ hour before the game. If you cannot work your scheduled time, please get your own replacement.
The Home & School and School Advisory Board meetings have been rescheduled for Monday, September 24th for 6:30 and 7:30 pm respectively. The Home & School will be in need of new officers – we know for sure we will need a new treasurer. Please be thinking and praying about this opportunity to serve with your time and talent.
