VALENTINTE’S PARTIES: Classroom parents are in charge of planning classroom party activities and for coordinating treats and other refreshments. Please update the classroom teacher with your plans. The Valentine’s Party will held on Friday, February 13th beginning at 2:30. Thank you for volunteering!!
DRESS CODE: Just a few reminders about the dress code we discussed at the last Home and School Meeting. Preschool students should always wear Velcro or Slip on shoes or sneakers, please no tie shoes. All students are required to wear shoes that have a back on them, no slip-on shoes or crocs. Shoes must be tennis-like shoes and meet the requirements in the handbook. Boots are only allowed on dress down days, and this rule applies to preschool students as well.
SIBLING SERVICE: Sibling service was started for drop in occasions as another sibling has an activity (sports practice, student council, etc.) after school. We have extended that for archery this year and are letting the archery students stay in afternoon extended care until archery practice starts. If your child is staying in sibling service, you are to pay $2 when you pick up your child, otherwise we will document it as regular extended care and you will be charged $7 at the end of the month. I hope this clears up any confusion there is about sibling service. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office.
ARCHERY: We will continue to have archery practice on Wednesday nights from 4:30-5:30 pm. We have four students that will be participating in the meet at St. Martins School on Saturday, February 7th at 4pm. Thanks for being patient as we try to navigate through this new process.
HEADS UP FOR TWO MONDAYS OFF! School will not be in session on Monday, Feb. 9th for teacher professional development nor on Monday, Feb. 16th for Presidents’ Day.

VIP DAY: Very Important Person Day will be held on Wednesday, March 4th. We will start with Mass at 8 am followed by refreshments in the gym. More details to come.
Dress like a Staff Member:, We missed 1 day during CSW. The theme was “Dress Like a Staff Member”. Students can dress like a staff member on Tuesday, February 10th. .
KOMU8: KOMU8 Television Station was here this week to tape our students for the pledge portion of the morning news. We don’t’ know when it will air; we will let you know details as they become available.
