CONGRATULATIONS to our eighth graders graduating this weekend
at the 5:00 pm Saturday evening Mass. We recognize and congratulate Joe Beck,
Tevin Groose, Emily Love, Ava Puckett, & Justin Schrimpf. All 8th
graders should meet in the classroom at 4:30 pm. We wish you all the best in
high school, but we will miss you so much! God Bless you all!
FEES OWED: Final grade cards/diplomas will only be issued to students whose fees
are paid in full. This includes, but is not limited to, sustaining fees, lost
library book fees, preschool &/or extended care fees, school
support/tithing, lunch fees, rule violation fees, lost textbook fees, etc. FINAL FEE NOTICES ARE IN TODAY’S FOLDER.
PLEASE SEND ALL PAYMENTS AND RETURN ALL LIBRARY BOOKS TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.
(Tell your child to not leave books in the library!) THANK YOU!
7TH GRADE PARENTS: The
graduation committee asks for your help in decorating, and getting ready for
graduation on Saturday at 2:00 pm. All help is needed and appreciated!
CHANGE OF MENU: Next Tuesday, 5/17 we will serve chicken nuggets, baked beans, fruit,
& carrot sticks, in lieu of the chicken patties (due to product recall). On
the final day of school we will serve PBJ, chips, & a fruit snack. Please
fill out enclosed form so we can plan accordingly.
RETURNING MONEY: You should find the $5 refund from Tan-Tan-A (parent portion of
payment), in today’s folder.

Due
to low enrollment numbers, the preschool will run part-time next school year –
three days per week (days to be determined). Also, 1st graders will
remain with their homeroom teacher all day.
BONUS DRESS DOWN DAY: Mr. Vandike is granting a bonus dress down day on MONDAY, as an end
of year reward for such great students and a great year! Thank you Mr. V! That
means next week students may dress down on Monday and Tuesday for field day and
then wear Spirit Shirts on Wednesday.
FIELD DAY:
Students will be enjoying Field Day on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. This will
be a dress down day.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL: The last
day of school is set for Wednesday, May 18th, dismissing at 12:00
noon, with the Awards ceremony set for 9:30 am. THERE WILL BE NO EXTENDED CARE
SERVICES AVAILABLE THAT AFTERNOON.
OUR APPRECIATION to the
family of Loretta Lepper, in whose memory a donation to the school was made.

SCRIP: Orders for physical gift cards are due on May
15. Orders will be placed on May 16. Order forms can be placed in the
collection basket at church. You can also order e-gift cards at www.shopwithscrip.com.

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2016-17 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE AUGUST 17, 2016. THE OPEN HOUSE
WILL BE ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 14, 2016, FROM 6:00 – 7:30 PM.
LAST ONE! This will be the last “Friday Notes” sent
home for the school year. We want to wish everyone a great summer – safe and
fun! Enjoy your time off students! We will see you all back and refreshed in
August!
