All submitting the online enrollment packet by that date will receive a BONUS DRESS DOWN PASS for the new school year.
SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL BALLOTS: Ballots may be found in today’s folder – one per household. Please vote for 4 of the 6 candidates. Thanks so much to all six of these individuals who have offered their gifts of time & talent in service to our school.
PANTS/SHORTS POLICY: Full length pants must be worn October 1 – April 1. Administration may choose to designate a “short pants” day during this time frame.
REPORT CARDS – 3rd QUARTER: Report cards are available online through your FACTS parent portal. If you have not already done so, please review and then sign & return the slip provided in last week’s folder. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the classroom teacher. STUDENT SHOWCASE/MEET & GREET: Thanks to all who attended our event on Monday night in support of our students and our outreach efforts. We saw many happy faces and also many new faces! We thank Ms. Williamson for giving the students the opportunity to share some of their artwork with parents – they are proud of what they create! Check out our Facebook page for some fantastic pictures of the event.
STEP-UP MORNING – MONDAY, APRIL 28TH: We invite all new preschoolers and any new student to attend the “Step Up” morning, (7:30 am – 9:00 am) which will help orient our new enrollees to the “school experience”. All current students will advance to the next grade for that same period of time to get an idea of what their next school year might be like. Please contact Rosie in the school office if you are interested in sending your new student to join us that morning.

FISHING DAY: 3rd – 8th Grade Fishing Day at Lepper Lake is planned for Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from approximately 12:00 noon through 3:00 pm. We will need many parent drivers. Mark your calendar now for this event and look for driver sign-up forms, which will be coming out in next week’s folder.
$ FOR UGANDA: THE 1st & 2nd graders were proud to raise $123.25 through their sales efforts last week. These students were studying a unit on producers and consumers, and Mrs. Werdehausen used this as an opportunity for a Christian Service project as well. We thank you, the parents, for sending in money to support their sales efforts. They did a great job! Check out the pictures on our Facebook page. The money raised will be sent with Father Simon the next time he returns home to support education in his home area.
7TH & 8TH GRADE PARENTS & STUDENTS: Today you will find a flyer in this folder announcing Vocations Night at Sacred Heart in Eldon on March 27th. Fr. Simon will be one of the featured presenters! We strongly encourage all 7th & 8th students and parents to attend this local event.
FANTASY NIGHT 2025 DATE SET: Mark your calendar now for Saturday, October 18, 2025 for our Fantasy
Night event. The date for this annual fundraiser was moved to the third weekend
of the month due to the fact that our grill masters have a family wedding on
the second weekend of October.
SERVICE HOURS: Please take time now to log service hours on your family portal. Remember that all households (between the two parents/guardians) must perform at least 20 hours of service to the school and/or parish each school year. This requirement does not include student service hours, which are performed within the classroom/school day. In lieu of the hours, you may choose to pay out the time @ $10/hr. (Next school year the fee will be $20/hr.). Please call Rosie in the school office if you have any questions.
